Amen and amen. I suggest that those who thus dehumanize other people forfeit at least some measure of their humanity. Tell me why, if you can, why they should not be treated as beings who have forfeited their humanity. I can think of one reason so far: we want to at least try to break the cycle of dehumanization if it is breakable, not keep it going. With some individuals at least it is possible to break that cycle. Anything else? Seriously.
