I was introduced to Jesus the nonviolent revolutionary and I'm still following Him and His Father. I write with fury when I think of those who have as part of their stock-in-trade routine violation of the 3rd Commandment. I love the way the New International Version puts it: "You will not make WRONG USE of the Name of the Lode your God..." etc. Now, tell me: is anything wronger use of that Name than to say He really is OK with bigotry and a seriously skewed income inequality? Look at the Old Testament and you'll see what got them sent into exile (or lost, in the case of the 10 tribes) were the results of turning from Him, most of which have to do with preying on the poor!

That, not the idols of the churches, is the God I am blessed to know.
