Are there any 'deeper' truths than 1) everything that exists physically eventually dies and 2) that the one thing that is everlasting is love? Maybe that's why Plato deduced that the human soul is immortal.

Jesus is the supreme example and incarnation of God's Love. He shows us how far God will go to either save us or enable us to save ourselves, depending on how you see it. On the other hand, God will (generally) not interfere with human free will. I find that is what most atheists, and, indeed, most people who are deluded into believing they have the Whole Truth (and yes, I DO know I don't) have 'against' God: He won't put the 'evil' in their place right here, right NOW!

Anyhow, the questions with which I began this are NOT rhetorical. Answer them if you can. And I WILL be able to tell if they're real or if they're mere obfuscations.
