But one time it was a struggle. In this instance, I think Jesus's divinity had to work to break through Jesus being a first-century Jew. Both Matthew and Mark write about Jesus's encounter with the Syrophoenician/Canaanite woman in the SIdon area. At first he didn't even acknowledge her presence, then said he was sent only to 'the lost sheep of the house of Israel' . Finally, he shows what Jews thought of their northern neighbors in his protest that it's not right to feed the children's bread to the dogs. She acknowledges that but also mentions that the dogs get the crumbs falling from the table. Right there is where the light of Jesus's divinity breaks through the earthly veil.

To myself, I translate 'Yeshua' directly into English as 'Joshua'. I also add that his family name might be Bar-David, Davidson, or, more fully, Bar-El.
