Considering Luther's attitude toward Jews, I don't know how you'll feel about this, but reading the above words, my mind flashed back to his last words before the Diet at Worms: "Hier stehe ich; ich kann kein andern tun. Gott hilf mir. Amen."

I think you know the translation but here it is anyway: "Here I stand; I can do no other. God help me. Amen."

God help us all who can do no other than fight for justice for ALL. Jews included.
