I hope in the next referendum on independence, Scotland votes to break the union and rejoins Europe. As for England, what will it be able to do but, in effect, surrender unconditionally to Europe in order to survive? I do not expect to live to see another time when English people will be able to hold their heads up. And I am in my sixties.
