I hope we do what's necessary for us and the best in us, but I can't help wondering how many of my 'fellow' palefaces among those lifted up will be oblivious of the benefits they get and harp on how they 'don't git no more'n a n***er or Injun gits'? How many will never forgive their country's majority for 'makin' n***ers equal to us'? Seriously.
