I hope you're including the MUCH larger number of Africans seized and transported across the Sahara over fourteen centuries. And the death rate was WAY higher than in the trans-Atlantic slave trade which only lasted three and a half centuries.

18 million Africans reached the Arab slave markets but over 100 million perished in the desert. Compare that with 15 million taken by the Europeans, 11 million of which reached the Americas.
