I imagine a scene where a Typical White American Male has been trying to duck and run from at least a truth (truths?) which make him feel suicidal. I imagine him starting to literally bawl, "No, no NO!!! Don't make me face it! I can't! I can't!" punctuated by loud bawls. Then, silence. The fool concludes that since he can't run from these truths, he takes out a pistol with suicidal intent. Then, at just the moment before he pulls the trigger (and the pistol's in his mouth) he hears a voice which says, "Wait." He looks, and there's a man about my age (sixties) in the room with him. One who asks 'why?' quite a lot. to the initial annoyance of our fool. But they get past that.
That's about all I have for now. A good pivotal scene, perhaps, but not enough for a full screenplay.
