I think it's not only possible, but only too likely. For this Jesus came, lived, died and was resurrected. He still holds out HIs hand for us to grasp if we so choose. And grasping that hand with humility and knowing that we'll NEVER have Jesus in our pocket but will always need to learn and do more is the ONLY way we will be extricated from this pit we ourselves have dug!
