I wonder if an unseen part of the equation is, how many Westerners, from unconsciously to openly, miss the times when WE were an 'honor society'. Most of them will likely be AMHs (Adult Male Hominid; I won't call them 'men') of the 'incel' variety, perhaps including some exceptionally stupid and vicious women such as Palin, Boebert and bad old MTG. Just a thought.
