It shouldn't be, but the ugly reality is that, too often, that's what it amounts to.
Nobody wants to take away 'being able to live in safety and afforded basic respect' from anyone. What anti-racists want to do is make that a reality for EVERYONE so that it is no longer a 'privilege' but a right. For everyone.
