Lilith, you are WAY too 21st century. The Canaanites were 'filling the land with abominations' such as child sacrifice. And God IS patient and not only with the 'abominators' but with humankind generally. You want to argue with Him He's way TOO patient, go on ahead. S/He will probably enjoy the argument but be ready to answer some seriously tough questions from God about these matters.
