Looks like we brought Old Europe, as described by James Jones in his book WWII, home: "The idea that war--modern war--might be insanity, a racial evolutionary hangover, could only seem ridiculous to them. (Europeans) Survival meant fighting, spitting, clawing what you needed away from those who needed it as badly as you." Am I right?
