Maybe ‘smug liberals’ should make their own case — but without the smugness. Trump now has a completely abysmal record in government which ought to be attacked but it might be a tightrope walk to attack his record without making it ad hominem. How else can it be explained that large majorities of this country’s voters favor the things ‘smug liberals’ advocate, which they do? Maybe Biden is a good choice for making that case without being smug about it?
