Mike, I am situated in what feels sort of like a 'climate island' on the Cumberland Plateau. But I'd like to know your take on how I can do more to ensure not only my family's lives and safety, but also help nurture the community up here.

I'd also like to know why you see the Chinese model as particularly helpful. As they are now, they don't strike me as particularly egalitarian or democratic. I could be wrong, though. I'd like to read your reasons.
