Molly, while I agree with you that women deserve better than abusers and cheats, a question occurs to me which is applicable, I think, for both men and women: what’s the difference between feeling like one deserves better and feeling (and worse still, acting) ‘entitled’? Does it have to do with what sort of ‘things’ are in the question? This is a serious question and I would appreciate at least an attempt to answer it. I ask it because I never felt like I ‘deserved’ any woman, yet I’m on my second (happy) marriage. I’m the widower of my late first wife.
