My dear friend, allow me first to confess that I was also deluded enough to think that, now, enough of us palefaces were ready for real change. Which is why I too was puzzled by the African-American vote. But after reading your post (and news ‘bits and pieces’ which said the same thing) I think I understand only too well. And I respect the reasons you give for your vote and those of many others. I also must respect your ‘barometric reading’ of the paleface majority which y’all had to develop to survive, much to our lasting shame.
