Not much surprise there; they have more than 90% of all the wealth in the country, much of it by inheritance. And what most of them use that power for is to draw up the ladders whereby they, their parents or grandparents, ascended to wealth. Did they build the schools or the roads? Like hell they did. So long as the rich stay rich (and I have seen NO plan of taxation that changes that at all; they just keep the rich from going neo-feudal compared with most of us poor sods.) why should they care?
