One thing on which I may dwell a bit much but which no one else seems to consider: the death of all these people will result in large areas where there won't be enough living to bury or cremate the dead. Huge numbers of corpses will rot where they died, And the scent of mass death will be carried around the globe by the winds even into those areas which consider themselves 'safe'. What will these 'Kurzgesagts' do about that? Wear masks ALL the time? Not go outside? And how long is that ghastly odor likely to be with us?
