Outside of Israel, wherever Jews are considered 'white', that whiteness is always conditional. Six million died because, led by the Nazis, enough Europeans believed that Jews were not, and could never be, really 'white' although they 'defiled white blood' by marrying Gentiles.

Although what Jews could do to repudiate 'whiteness' without putting themselves in possibly serious danger is not overly clear. Ideas?
