Stephen, while I admire your audacity and independent thought, I'm really not sure you know enough about what goes on in our country yet. I am a white Anglo-Saxon Southerner in my sixties and I can tell you, you gave your ignorance away when you called George Floyd 'a criminal'. We don't even know that the $20 bill he presented WAS counterfeit, let alone that Mr. Floyd knew it to be false. I think we're all agreed that no one should be murdered for such a possible crime as that, right? And most of us who live here know very well that, had Mr. Floyd been white, he would never have been murdered over such a matter. This sort of thing--unarmed black and brown suspects being murdered when we all know a white person would have never been killed with the same excuse--happens so often that, IMO and in that of millions of Americans of all colors, it can be termed 'systemic racism'. That is to say,, in our 'system', blacks and browns being so treated is not a 'bug' in the system but a feature of it. You stay in the USA; you'll learn. Just stay alive, please.
