This makes me really wonder if a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-faith democratic republic is even possible here. We have some of the people reaching towards it and then we have this roadblock of 'whiteness'.

Still, for those 'whites' like me trying to reach toward this to give up would be the last betrayal of those who the USA has betrayed from a to z. So I for one will soldier on here for a while yet.
