Today's events and Jew-hatred coming back out from under the rocks show again how urgently necessary Israel is. How dare you, or any other Gentile, suggest Jews should trust you or any other gentile with defending them after our absymal record in the 1930s and 40s? This is within my mother's living memory!

Were I a Jew, I wouldn't trust you, or any gentile including myself, to defend me, not for a New York nanosecond!

And get out of the mindset of 'Jews-white-oppressor/Arabs-brown-oppressed'. They are cousins with the same 'color' and part of the Arabs' problem with them is that, in the Arab/Muslim world, the Jews used to have the same status as 'common n***ers' had in the Jim Crow South.

Finally, just over half the Arabs, or their grandparents, immigrated into Mandatory Palestine during that period. And why? Because the returning Jews got the economy moving. They are NOT the land's ancestral stewards; the Jews are the indigenous people. They have been the ones willing to share from the beginning until now; it is the Arabs who insisted, and still do insist, on having ALL the power and ALL the land!
