Umair, not to excuse the current disease of most of the English-speaking world, but take a hard look at ALL societies around the globe. When you do, I’m afraid you’ll find that those societies which DO give their people, or at least most of their people, dignity are in a minority. Not only the USA, the UK and maybe Australia, but what about China? India? Russia? The whole Arab/Muslim world? Latin America? Sub-Saharan Africa?
Which, of course, renders the jobs you recommend here to be all the more urgent, right? I’d certainly think so.
