Wait a doggone minute here! Russia, Turkey and Poland were once 'robust democracies'? Exactly WHEN was this miracle?! Russia never quite got there, Turkey's swung between shaky democracy and military rule, and Poland had a good beginning but then their Jew-haters came out in legions and it was all over! One can argue the USA was never much of a democracy, yeah, but to call those other three countries 'robust democracies' is just a little too out there!
