What today’s capitalism does, Umair, is produce dragons. Let me explain. In Germanic legends, dragons stole all the valuables and then made a bed out of them. The dragons didn’t DO a dad-blamed thing with the gold, silver, jewels, etc. other than sleep on them! Dragons weren’t a good thing for the local ecologies either as, when they were awake, they burned burnables at will. And the only way dragons increased their hoards was by plunder.And yet — they could tell somehow if a cup or a small bag of coins had been taken. So, tell me: do those legends not mirror today’s reality only too well or what? Seriously. I want to hear from you about this post.
