Whatever happened to Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the Moslem League? Or are they unworthy of mention as Anglo-American puppets? Not to mention what must have been a struggle within the Indian Muslim community between the followers of Abdul Ghuffar Khan (Badshah Khan), who favored a unified India, and Jinnah’s Moslem League? Sorry, Umair, but your ‘answer’ is far too pat — especially with Attlee’s Labour government not hostile to another more or less Fabian government in India! Not to mention that, in 1947, the Cold War was still ‘gelling’, as might be said. It only hardened into the Cold War in 1948 and 1949, with the Berlin blockade and Airlift and the creation of NATO, and the victory of the Chinese Communists, the next year.
