When Christianity is rightly used, it gives African-Americans (and many, many others) the necessary strength to FIGHT injustice and work to further justice in this world!! Like C.S. Lewis wrote in Mere Christianity: "Aim at Heaven and you will attain it, with Earth thrown in as an 'extra'. Aim at earth, and you'll get neither." Justice-fighters like Rev. William Barber and maybe, now, our Reverend Al (Sharpton) seem to understand this. Maybe it will profit you to ponder that. I don't know if you've read Mere Christianity, but that might help too. Some of what Lewis writes can be said to be dated, but the part of the book which I mention here might pique your interest.
