"White people aren’t concerned about Black people, they are concerned about themselves, and they’ll ignore anti-Blackness and racism if it means they get to remain comfortable." And that is one point where our job--that is, the job of we pasty-faces who are comparatively 'woke'--begins. In this case, getting the other pasty-faces to realize that anti-Blackness and racism are nibbling at THEIR comfort as well and, the way the economy is, will soon be eating their comfort in large bites even while the system will try to blame y'all for it! And many of them will almost certainly ask. "Isn't EVERYBODY mostly concerned about themselves?" along with "Well, who DOESN'T ignore injustice if they're all right?" Answer: anyone with half a heart and a quarter of a soul, you willfully stupid f**ks! But that's not something we can say (yet) to those who need 'wokening'.

As almost always, Marley, your writing is very nourishingly 'fibrous'. I feed that to my brain and heart, more of the rot exits. God bless and stay well!
