WHY NOT ME FOR PRESIDENT?
Well, hearing all the panic chatter about last night’s debate has me suggesting: why shouldn’t I be the Democrats’ candidate? This is only partially tongue-in-cheek; let me point out that, while I have no inside experience in politics, I have watched politics since I was in the sixth grade — and, when you think about it, who sees the most of any game or contest? The watchers or the participants? Think about it.
I want to see us go ahead towards the ‘green’ lights with minimal dislocation for us small folks, proper taxation which may, while it will leave the rich still rich, may cause there to be no more billionaires and a healthy distance between religion and state, including in Hamtramck. And, while I stick to the truth, I ain’t about to be overly ‘presidential’ in telling our fascisti where to get off, nor in how I do so! Which in turn means, yes, I will do all I can to preserve, strengthen and extend secular democracy. And that’s because, not despite, me being a man of Christian faith!
I want to see Hamas crushed but I don’t think it’s being done right somehow. To Bibi I say, (but only to him and his government) watch out, Cheltenham, West Mt. Airy’s comin’ for ya! I suspect Europe needs to be ‘assimilating’ its Muslims more aggressively.
So much for the more important matter; questions are welcome. And think about, who really DOES see more of the game?
