YES. I have been blessed to be able to hear God for the last 17 years. Yes, in my mind. His manner with me is that of all our favorite teachers--the ones we wish all teachers were like! Mostly, God asks me questions in a benevolent teacher's way and together, we work out answers which, by the process, are written on my heart. Questions, much more than commands, are His teaching tools. At least with me; I can't speak for anyone else.
