Yes! Thanks, Ted, for illuminating the significance of that civil war--which, btw, had Titus sitting just outside the walls all the while, for a whole year. I guess he anticipated Napoleon's maxim, 'Never interrupt your enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.'
I guess the soldiers kept themselves busy with pizza-making contests; I've heard that the first pizza crusts actually were matzot with herbs and olive oil on them.
Anyhow, I was about to ask Mr. Piper about the significance of that civil war but you pretty much answered my question. Thanks again!
